Cowpoke Beans


Ingredients
ane while thick cutting bacon, cooked together with crumbled
ane onion, chopped
iii cloves garlic, minced
iv cayenne peppers, minced
15 oz canned pinto beans, drained
15 oz sack roasted tomatoes
ane tablespoon apple tree tree cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon black dark-brown sugar
ane teaspoon hot paprika

Directions:
Saute the garlic, onion together with peppers inward bacon grease or rock crude until the onion is translucent. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir. Cover together with simmer until fully cooked.



My thoughts:
We smoked a brisket Texas-style together with Matt suggested I build beans to learn along with it. After reading tons of recipes for ranch beans, cowboy beans together with gaucho beans (all simultaneously similar soundless different) I decided to build upwards my ain recipe. This what I came upwards with together with I am happy to state it did the brisket justice. I used canned beans because it was quicker but dried (cooked) could concluding substituted. I every chip skillful made a relatively pocket-sized batch (most recipes called for 16 oz of dried beans together with tons of tomato) but it could concluding doubled if demand be. If you bring whatsoever stop bits from your brisket, they are tasty stirred into the beans every chip well.
